#121 Things I DON’T Do In My Practice

Season #1

Hi there! In this episode, I'm sharing with you some of the things I don't do in my practice that might help you determine what to eliminate from your plate. As practice owners, we often do things the way they've always been done, but there might be ways to streamline and free up your time. I hope this episode gives you some ideas.

I start by discussing the technical work I don't do, including preparing tax returns, accounts, and bookkeeping. I also don't review work anymore, as I trust my team to handle it.

Client contact is another area I don't do anymore. I don't have any client meetings or even client emails or calls. Instead, I've passed off client relationships to my client managers, who handle the bulk of client communication.

I also don't handle any administration, AML work, risk assessments, or employee and client onboarding. Instead, I focus on marketing and driving inquiries into the business. I handle the high-level strategy and direction of our marketing efforts and work with agencies to deploy tactics.

If you're interested in learning more about what I don't do in my practice, give this episode a listen. It might inspire you to reevaluate what's on your plate and delegate more effectively.
