"So it's all brilliant. And there's so many positives, but the resources I think is one really big one because it saves you reinventing the wheel. And it's resources that you may not even know you needed. "
This is one of the many wins that Sharon has got after joining Reza's mastermind programme.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I started off as a completely digital practice in may last year. I had a very clear path as we teach our business owners to have a defined goal, know where you're going, because then you know what path you're taking. And I thought I had that. And I was quite clear with where I was going. Downside is it's a lonely place being, working on your own and being a sole person because you've got no one to bounce ideas off of. So working that plan is that a bit of a challenge.
What was life like before you joined the mastermind?
My biggest challenge before I joined the mastermind group was having that camaraderie, having that team to ask to bounce ideas off of, to get some feedback from it. It makes such a difference to know that you've got somebody there that you can ask and you don't have to have sleepless nights over it or bang your head against the wall.
What had you tried before to try and overcome these problems?
I tried working with networking partners, but they don't understand our world. So finding somebody that understands our world and, and in this mastermind group, it's people that understand our world cause our world is quite unique. Made an enormous difference. So yeah, trying, trying to do it yourself doesn't work guys.
Where did you first hear about Reza?
I'd heard about Reza a number of months before I joined the mastermind group and we've bounced messages backwards and forwards. And when I first looked at it, I thought I'd love to do this, but can I afford this right now? When you first start out, you've got to be really careful where you choose to spend your money. But as soon as I came to a point where I thought, right, and I promised myself, when I take on X number of clients, X revenue raises my port of call. So I'd been sort of keeping an eye on him in the background, but like a stalker, what can I say?
Some of the benefits of joining the mastermind programme?
Enormous benefits of Reza resources, which are untold and the support you get from the group and from Reza himself, he's always available, he's always there to comment he's always there to give you feedback sometimes negative, but you know what? We all need some negative feedback to learn sometimes. So it's all brilliant. And there's so many positives, but the resources I think is one really big one because it saves you reinventing the wheel. And it's resources that you may not even know you needed.
How long did it take you to see the benefits of being on the programme?
Within the first couple of months, the resources I'd got and the ideas that I'd got to put in place. So very, very quickly, you see that and you see the benefits and the structure that it gives is amazing. And from the mastermind group, they're so welcoming, they are so supportive that you get that immediately. Thus getting a lot easier because you learn to manage things. You learn to move things forward. And you learn to depend on that team in a way that becomes your support team, which, which does make things easier. And when you're stressing and you're, I say flapping, sometimes I do get myself in a flap, you've got that team to fall back on. Then you've got Reza to fall back on, which is just brilliant.
What would you say to someone thinking of joining the mastermind?
Soon as it's something that you think you can afford, do it. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment and I'd make it priority as soon as you get to that point where you think this is for me.
