Overwhelmed with always being contactable?! 🤯

Are you feeling overwhelmed by clients calling you in the evening or on the weekends?

Whether it's WhatsApp, email, or text, it can be difficult to reestablish communication boundaries with your client. If this is your current situation, chances are that perhaps you haven't clearly articulated or communicated the parameters of working with your clients. And the changes in scope and preferences. A client is none the wiser.

You can set parameters in your pricing when you're agreeing to pricing with a client that determines what's a value to them. And if getting an answer from you immediately and talking to you is valuable to them, then factor that in. If calling you in the evenings is valuable to them, then factor that into your pricing, too.

What this will enable you to do is to set different prices for different customers. Your customers that value having access directly to you at the partner level, at the sole practitioner level, rather than calling your employees, should appreciate that it's more expensive to do so. For those clients who don't want to meet with you monthly, that should be more expensive than meeting with you quarterly. For those clients that want you to go out and visit them on site in their offices, that should be more expensive than having a zoom call with you or them coming to your offices. For those clients that want 24/7 access and you're prepared to give that, then clearly that should be a lot more expensive than your normal service.

You need to clearly set out the scope and preferences when you are pricing your clients. And that will help to alleviate that overwhelming feeling and enable you to price based upon the value that you are generating for your client.
