Leaders are readers

I was a really late reader…

I don’t mean that I couldn’t read, I could, otherwise qualifying as an accountant would have been quite the struggle 

But I mean that until my mid 30s - I didn’t have a love for reading. I found it boring 

However as I started on my business journey, being a partner in my own firm, things started to change.

I started to pick up and read business books, and I found them gripping. I couldn’t put them down 

And that’s because everything I was reading was so applicable. It was knowledge that could help myself, my clients and my team members to all live better lives.

Nowadays, I’m an avid reader It’s a great way to expand your perspective and learn from others who have often made mistakes along the way.
