If you're struggling to win clients, it's likely because you haven't got your positioning right.
You're not clear on who your ideal client is. And you're not clear on what the messaging is that you're gonna use to find those ideal clients. Trying to appeal to every SME in the country is very expensive. It also is a pretty much futile exercise, because it's very hard to get any level of differentiation when you're trying to appeal to everyone. Because when you appeal to everyone, you're actually appealing to no one.
So what you need to do is be crystal clear on which segments of people you are the accountant of choice for. Who is your ideal client? Which sector are they in? Which industry are they in? The more you focus on going deep and going narrow, the more likely it is that you are gonna get ideal clients who are attracted to you, and the more likely you'll be able to craft messaging to find those ideal clients. So what is your positioning and what is your messaging?
Get that right and pretty soon, you'll find clients will come to you first.
